“We are dust and to dust return.
In the end,
we are neither air, nor fire, nor water,
just dirt,
neither more nor less,
just dirt,
and maybe some yellow flowers.”
—— Pablo Neruda
All living organism is equal within the vast universe and the limitless dimension of time.
In this series, I abstract the figures, obscure the gender, blur facial features as well as body postures to wipe out the stereotypes imposed on minorities. I use bright and loud colors of blue, red and purple, skin colors that don’t exist in the real world, to eliminate the label of races. The boundaries between humans and nature are shattered as the poetic abstract strokes blend the form of humans and flowers, pure and simple in structure but tremendous in character.
